The Martinique had a quite an incredible sound and made it on more than enough recordings and sessions in the time I had it. I've since moved on from my Supros, but this was only to fund the purchase of a Gretsch 6118. They look hella cool but there isn't a real hunger for them and they weren't adopted by any major players outside of Bowie playing a Dual Tone and Dan Auerbach on rare occasion playing a Martinique. The reissues modernized them a bit but kept a lot of the quirks that, while they sound good to aficionados, modern players don't really love. Even Gretsch from that era have weird problems. The Martinique, like all Supros, JB Huttos and 60s guitars that always look sexy when the Black Keys or White Stripes are playing them but the originals were quite quirky if you've ever played them. When it came time to sell they were really hard to move. The Roadhouse Gold Foils were quite unique. The Ozard (Jimi's first guitar) was the basis of the shape but the design was totally new from there onward. Wonderful necks, finish, playability, finishes and a killer original neck.

The Westbury and Island series in general were brilliant, new designs. I owned 3, a Hampton, Westbury and Martinique which were picked up when they slashed prices in 2017. Supro did a brilliant job but it was a little weird to buy import guitars at these prices that had a few quirks. We might do a P90 here and there, a Filtertron for fun, but it doesn't go much deeper.
